In 2022, graduate students from the University of Michigan School of Information analyzed our Library website for usability. They provided a series of recommendations. A primary recommendation was to establish a unified look-and-feel across all of our Web properties.
Toward this end, in 2023, I established a combined codebase for inclusion in four key Springshare properties used by the Library: LibGuides, LibAnswers, LibCal, and LibInsight. Thus, except for the main Library website (Red) and our Discovery system (Primo VE), our web presence is much closer to a unified look and feel.
